Volunteer

Volunteers are critical to the operations of the library. Opportunities include serving as a Trustee on the Board, helping with children’s programming, shelving books at branches, and so much more.

Crafters and Kid Wranglers

We love children’s programs around here and we couldn’t pull them off without a small army of volunteers. Organizations, individuals, and students all contribute to our variety of children’s programs. Volunteers are needed for pre-program prep-work, and day of the event assistance. We partner with a number of institutions (WVU, United Way, Board of Education) that offer service credits, please fill out the downloadable form and return to the Morgantown Public Library or email jay.gummer@clark.lib.wv.us

Books, Books, Books

Do you love books like we love books? We also love how much our communities love books! They show us that love by donating used books at all our locations. Managing book donations is labor intensive and we are always looking for people to help sort and store books for sales. If this sounds like your idea of a good time, call…actually if you could download the form and drop it off at your local branch or email it to jay.gummer@clark.lib.wv.us we can match you up with book loving opportunities.
