Masks No Longer Required

Dear Library Patrons,

The Morgantown Public Library Board of Trustees has removed mask requirements for staff and visitors at all library locations, effective today, Monday, March 7, 2022. Though not required, we welcome anyone who chooses to wear a mask. This decision has been made with considerable care and is based on declining COVID-19 infection rates in our community.

While hopeful for the future, this mask policy may change as the pandemic evolves. Our goal has always been to serve you with open access to resources, information, and experiences, and our priority is to do this safely for everyone. We will maintain many of our social distancing services including curbside pick as well as BookDash, a library delivery service, to continue to reach those with accessibility issues.

We strive to always be transparent and will update you should anything change. Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at ask@mympls.org or 304-291-7425
