First LEGO League

Join the Library’s Team!

The Morgantown Public Library System will proudly host the state’s first library-backed First LEGO League team! Our team will be in the Explore age group, grades 2-4, with up to six members. They will focus on the fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design and code, and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks.

Apply to Join the League

This program, free of cost, requires a commitment to attending 12 meetings from September through March. Meetings will happen on the second and fourth Tuesdays, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., except for holiday breaks in November and December. Parents will take turns staying with the children and providing snacks. Here are the dates:

September 9 and 23
October 14 and 28
November 11
December 9
January 13 and 27
February 10 and 24
March 10 and 24
