Troy Krupica

Troy M Krupica is the Chief of Hospital Medicine at WVU Ruby Hospital and an Associate Program
Director of the Internal Medicine Residency. Troy completed his undergraduate Bachelors of Science
degree in Nuclear Medicine at Wheeling Jesuit University in 2006. He then earned a medical degree
from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2010. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency
here at WVU and then served as Chief Resident before joining the faculty as a Hospitalist. Troy has been
a practicing Internal Medicine Hospitalist for over 10 years. In addition, he is the medical director of
several Nursing Homes and Skilled Nursing Facilities affiliated with WVU.
Troy has lived in Morgantown since 2010 and has served on several boards and committees related to
the WVU Medicine Health System.
Troy is a father of 2 daughters, proud uncle to several nieces and nephews, husband, son, and brother.
He is an avid reader and book collector. In addition to reading, he enjoys spending time with his family
and being both indoors as well as outdoors.
