Introducing Our Author Speaker Series!

The Morgantown Public Library is now offering exclusive access to talks with best selling authors and thought leaders! These are live events with interactive Q&A sessions where you can ask questions directly to the author.

This resource is part of the Library Speakers Consortium that will stream 2-3 talks each month. Don’t worry if you miss a talk, you can always watch it back through our online portal.

Books and authors selected will cover a wide range of fiction and non-fiction genres including historical fiction, contemporary fiction, romance, OwnVoices, poetry, business, personal growth, social justice, history, art, culture and more.

For certain talks, we will meet in-person to live stream the event. Our first author talk watch party will take place on August 3rd at 2:00pm at the Aull Center for Local History to meet Marcia Chatelain, Pulitzer Prize Winner and author of “Franchise: The Golden Arches in Black America.” Following the author talk, Mike McClung, Aull Center Coordinator, will lead a discussion.
