The Morgantown Public Library, downtown branch, will be closed again today, July 15th.
We experienced a break in the main water line Monday evening and workers spent most of Tuesday trying to resolve the issue. To do this, they had to shut the water off to the building. At a time when hand-washing is paramount to health and safety, we had to close the library.
The repair is still ongoing and we will update you as soon as we learn anything new. At this point in time, there is no clear completion date.
While curbside pickup is not available, we encourage you to use our 24/7 digital library, accessible to anyone with a library card: https://www.mympls.org/download-it/. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.
